Ten Inches

Ten inches doesn't seem like much, that is until that ten inches is your hair. Yesterday I went in to get a hair cut. I was bored and wanted to do something different. I talked to the hair stylist and she said that the salon does donations to Locks of Love, so I had her measure out ten inches and it wasn't to scary so I decided to go for it. I wish I had a picture to post but I will have to work on it. I have always wanted to donate my hair and now I can say that I have. My grandma died of breast cancer and had gone through the treatments and losing her hair. I guess I picture someone like her wearing my hair and looking fabulous. It feels good to know that I helped someone out there in this big world feel better about themselves. I must say my family was shocked. I called and told my mom on the phone that I cut ten inches off and donated it and she wouldn't believe me. She made me promise that I was telling the truth. She was more shocked then anybody including Bob. My mom even called my sister to tell her what I had done. I guess my favorite part is saying that I donated it. Hurray for Locks of Love!
