I made it. I survived student teaching in one piece. The question that has been playing on repeat in my head is what do I do now? This may come as a shock but after all that work I don't think I want to be an art teacher, at least not in that way. I still love working with kids and showing them how to create but I don't like the classroom and school environment. Which makes figuring out what to do next a little more challenging. I've talked about it with my husband and I told him that I think I would like to go into library science so that I will have time to paint and create art. I just don't know what I am going to do right now, which is not a feeling that I have been enjoying. I thought I would like having all this freedom from student teaching but now I have to figure out what to do next.

So I have been done since Friday and have been using the time to be creative. Already I have completed three small paintings and made an apron for my younger sis's birthday. I think I will try and have a shop update in my little esty shop (there's a link on the right). It has been quite awhile so tomorrow looks like it will be the big day. I will probably do it sometime in the afternoon if there is anyone out there wondering. I am hoping that my paintings will take off so that my husband can see that I can do this. Wish me luck.
